As this year comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on all that the League of YES has been blessed to experience — from hosting an unforgettable baseball clinic with the Jr. New York Mets on the Mets baseball field at Citi Field, to being recognized as a Woman of Distinction in the Town of Riverhead, and the incredible honor of the LEAGUE OF YES's induction into the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame. We are now forever in the history books for Suffolk County!
Each of these moments reminds me of the power of community and how far we’ve come together. But even with all the joy and success, many of our families are facing difficult times. Some simply don’t have the financial means to pay for their child to play baseball.
