Support Josh and his baseball team the League of Yes by helping me reach my goal of $100 to keep this league running at an affordable cost and participate in the santacon 5k run walk and roll!
My son Joshua is 4 years old and on the Autism Spectrum. As a parent to a special needs kid you always wonder if your kid is going to be able to participate in the typical things that kids their age are doing. I would see so many parents have their kids in sports or karate or for the girls it was gymnastics or dance and wonder if my son could ever be able to do those things. The League of Yes baseball team gave him that opportunity. It allowed me to see him love and participate in a sport and feel included and able to do anything. One of the great things about the League of Yes is that its an affordable price. You look at typical things like sports or art or music lessons and the price for them is usually very expensive for typical kids and double that for special needs children because they require more attention and care. But the League of Yes was such an amazing organization at such an affordable price and I personally think it changed the way my son interacted with others. I watched every Saturday as he loved what he was doing and loved the buddies and the team he was with becoming more comfortable each week. The League of Yes is having a Santacon 5k run, walk and roll this year and I'm hoping to raise $100 dollars to help support my team and keep it going at an affordable cost.
